Ohio Wins - The statewide coordinated campaign to elect Dr. Amy Acton for Governor, send Sherrod Brown back to the Senate and keep Marcy Kaptur as our Congresswoman will be holding weekend canvassing on the following dates: 8/1, 8/2, 8/8, 8/9, 8/15, 8/16, 8/22, 8/23, 8/29, 8/30.

Join Toledo Persists and the Lucas County Stonewall Dems to write Postcards In support of inclusivity and to uplift trans candidates, we will be writing for Avery Rowland, a transgender woman running for Kansas State House District 42. Her platform is common sense to empower and protect all Kansas citizens - free breakfast and lunch to all K-12 students, legalizing marijuana to increase tax revenue, and protecting bodily autonomy and personal rights for people to make their own decisions. We will be writing approximately 200 postcards for Avery's campaign, in addition to our usual Lucas County candidates. As always, stamp donations are appreciated but not required. Snacks are welcome to share because we can't save democracy on an empty stomach. (I really should get that trademarked)
