LCDP JUNE EVENTS 2026

JUNE:

Ohio Wins -  the statewide coordinated campaign to elect Dr. Amy Acton for Governor and send Sherrod Brown back to the Senate is holding a canvassing kickoff Weekend of Action this coming weekend June 6 & 7.   • Saturday 6/6 & Sunday, 6/7, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm - Old West End Festival

    • All kicked off with our King Wamba Carnival Parade on Saturday morning, starting at 10 am at Robinwood and Collins St. (Glenwood Elementary School). This eclectic convergence of art, music, street theater, and visual wonder will process south through the Old West End (Robinwood, Bancroft, Collingwood) ending at Collingwood and Floyd (Collingwood Presbyterian Church). 

    • The biggest party of the year! The 53rd Annual Old West End Festival is a two-day event celebrating one of the largest historic districts in the country with live music, multiple food markets, a beer garden, house tours, shopping, and much more,

  • Saturday - 6/6 - Point Place Parade 

    • Line Up - 11:30   / Step Off - 12:00 pm

    • LCDP will provide a truck and trailer so all candidates and Democrats can march together! Look for the big group of Dems.

    • Wear comfortable shoes, bring sunscreen, water, and a bag of candy.
