IMPORTANT MAY PRIMARY ELECTION DATES:

**ABSENTEE BALLOT CHANGE** YOUR BALLOT MUST BE RETURNED TO THE BOE BY TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2026, NO LATER THAN 7:30 PM, FOR IT TO BE COUNTED (THEY ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING A BALLOT THAT IS POSTMARKED PRIOR TO MAY 5TH). There is a drop box located behind the Board of Election’s building, 3737 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623.

APRIL

• Monday - 4/6 - VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE for May 5th, 2026 Primary Election (The BOE Office is open until 9pm - you must have your Voter Registration Card turned in to vote in the May 2026 Primary Election. (ONLY IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE OR HAVE A CHANGE OF NAME/ADDRESS).)

• Contact BOE if you are uncertain about your Registration Status or have any general questions regaqrding elections. (419-213-4001).

• Tuesday - 4/7- First Day of Early Vote - 3737 W. Sylvania Ave., Entrance C, Toledo, OH 43623 (April 7, 2026 - May 3, 2026)

• Tuesday - 4/7 - Absentee Voting by Mail begins (Contact BOE for questions, 419-213-4001)

• Tuesday - 4/28 - APPLICATIONS for Absentee Voting MUST be received by BOE by 8:30 pm

  MAY

• Sunday - 5/3 - LAST DAY to Vote at the EARLY VOTE Center, 3737 W. Sylvania Ave, Entrace C, Toledo, OH 43623 (See Calendar below).

• Tuesday - 5/5 - ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE BOE BY 7:30 PM

• TUESDAY - 5/5 - PRIMARY ELECTION DAY!!!)

• You will go to your Polling Location on this day (Not the BOE on Sylvania Ave). Contact the BOE if you do not know your voting location.

• Absentee Ballots may be returned by mail or Personally delivered to the BOE, 3737 W. Sylvania Ave., Suite B, Toledo, OH 43623. If Absentee Ballots are not returned to the BOE by 7:30 pm on 5/5/26, they WILL NOT be counted!!!
