The foundation of a successful campaign is a well-organized and fully developed field program. It is a fact that direct voter contact yields positive results. However, a candidate cannot just start knocking on doors and hope to be successful. You need to have a plan that includes how best to directly reach voters. Your plan should include going door-to-door, phone banking, attending events, and more, and you need to work your plan.
Schuyler Beckwith will be running this session. She was the campaign manager for Toledo City Council Member Nick Komives. Thanks in large part to the field program that the campaign team developed, and the fact that he was a great candidate, Council Member Komives' first campaign was successful. Schuyler and Nick will discuss how to design and work a successful field program.
