The next seminar in the LCDP Monday Seminar series for candidates and potential candidates is on Establishing and Maintaining Positive Labor Relations. We will have a panel of labor leaders and the session will be moderated by Chairman Hughes. They will discuss the best way to introduce yourself and your candidacy, how to ask for an endorsement and support, issues that often arise between labor and elected officials, how to work through disputes and disagreements that do arise, and what organized labor's goals are when they involve themselves in an election.
Organized labor is one of the foundations of the Democratic Party, as candidates you represent the party when you speak with representatives from labor, and we hope this session will prepare you to do so intelligently and effectively.
This is open to all people in good standing with the LCDP or their own county party. RSVP Here
